

Brani is abbreviation of the name Branislav.
Branislav is a music teacher, operatic baritone, pianist, composer and a master piano tuner, born in Serbia, Yugoslavia.
Brani graduated at the University of Eastern Sarajevo in 2003 and 2004 earning degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performing.
Along his position of Piano Tuner at the Music Academy in Sarajevo, his teaching carrier started in 2002 as a Solfeggio teacher at a Music High School in Eastern Sarajevo.
In 2004, after graduating Vocal Performing, Brani moved to Serbia where he was a full time voice teacher at a elementary music school in Paracin.
In 2005, he joined Belgrade Opera Studio at the National Theater in Belgrade and performed roles of Betto in Gianni Schicchi and Adolfo in Agenzia Matrimoniale.
At the same time he was holding position of assistant conductor for "Lola" art institute choir.
In 2006 Brani joined Goran Bregovic's "Wedding and Funeral Orchestra" as a chorus member and with it traveled through several countries in Europe and later in summer of 2006, band's North American tour brought him to Montreal Jazz festival, Chicago and finally Ney York Lincoln Center.
After the tour, Brani came to San Francisco and was hired both as a piano tuner at Colton Piano store in Walnut Creek and as a choir director at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church in Moraga, CA. Along with that, Brani took a piano teacher's position at the Radayeva Music Studio in Pleasanton.
In SF Bay Area, up to this day Brani visited over 1300 homes providing piano tuning services. As a baritone he performed with Martinez Opera, Livermore Valley Opera, Island City Opera, SF Composers Chamber Orchestra, Classical Revolution etc., with roles like Don Morales, Marquis d'Obigny, Sharples, Enrico (Lucia di Lammermoor ), as a soloist for Beethoven 9th Symphony and others.
